In Medina's opinion, she's pretty awesome at nearly everything she tries, because if there's one thing she absolutely doesn't lack, it's self-confidence.  But that's probably useful in animal training (as is her mind-reading ability) so it's probably a safe bet that the rukk is well-trained.   Besides, what sort of cad hunts tame elephants?  I think she'd send Alya the Rukk out to hunt wild beasts. It's more sportsman-like.  Or sportswoman-like.
